Support tuner DVB-C annex b American - Edision OS NINOPRO

I requested the tuner datasheet from the manufacturer edision and no response. I also have a dreambox with tuner DVB-C philips already published here in this forum and in the openpli that has Annex b support, but it doesn't have the driver and nobody offers this help. The operator here is TVN - Brasil.


Tuner A: Philips CU1216Mk3 (DVB-C)

this appears to be the standard DVB-C tuner that can be used with DM600, 800, 7025, 8000.

Some spec info;

Small size 40mm x 70mm x 13mm in horizontal mounting 。
Digitally-controlled (PLL) tuning via I2C-bus .
Minimum power supply : 1.8V, 3.3V and 5V 。
Fully compliant with ETS 300 429 specification for DVB-C application,ITU-T J.83 (Annex A,B & C).
Output of MPEG-2 parallel/serial transport stream .
Digital SAW filter .
Support up to 256QAM .
Wide symbol rate of 0.87 to 6.9Mbaud.

Here in Brazil there are two cable operators, NET that uses the European standard Annex a, c and TVN that uses the American standard Annex b.

from which one are you expecting for help??? the only one who can add/modify a driver, is the manufacturer (dmm multimedia in this case)

the tuner supports what are you saying. did you tried openpli 7.2 ?
does dreambox original firmware supports it?

I hope everyone's help, with preference to Edision OS ninopro.

Regarding Dreambox, I've tried openpli 7.2 image and the original firmware to no avail.

i think we do not understand each other...

1) a. our image supports it, only if the tuner supports it too. the @elbandidos photo, shows it clearly.
b. the os nino pro internal tuner, does not support it . you can buy an external tuner...

2) a. we do not support dmm for a long time ago (because of dmm not offering support) .
b. the only one who can fix something like that, is dream multimedia. than, any other team, could add this option.
if you tried dmm original firmware and it not works, than do not expect help from any other...

it's clear friend. Unfortunately I will have to purchase an external USB tuner.

Can I plug the TBS tuner into the Edision's USB port? Do you have a driver for TBS?

also, in a few messages ago, there is a sure and tested propose for working tuners...

Last time I checked, The Nino Pro supported Hauppauge 850, 950, and 955 ATSC usb tuners. I can't find it on ebay.
