SDG-6 - VTuner - Streaming

Hello,

hopefully you can help me with my problem. On my SF4008 and Mutant HD51 (both SDG-6) i tried the following:
1. installing SAT->IP client plugin - virtual tuner 0..7 are available
2. seeking sat->ip servers the virtual tuner 0 found my fritzbox router that is capable to stream dvb-c services. Router model and DVB-C have been shown in vtuner 0

But this virtual tuner 0 neither is shown in the tuner configuration menu nor that i can seek for dvb-c services.

As i got the same negative result for both receivers i think that it might be no driver fault but instead i may have missed to install something more or whatever.

Or is there a misscompliant in the way how the fritzbox cable router is streaming DVB-C services?
Streaming works at computers with vlc installed and android devices with the "FritzTV App" installed.

Can someone give me a hint?
Is it useful that i provide any logs from the receiver or a string from the vlc playlist so that an expert might figure out what to do?

Most probably there is some special steps required to get it working.

It's not very popular to use sat>ip, at least none of the team has sat>ip server to play with.

I think on the feeds there is also an "OE" satip client , try this one!

i do not have a real sat ip server, but i have done a few tests, using as sat ip server, an edision pingulux (sparkbox sh4) receiver and minisat ip.
the tuner is recognised perfect as a sat tuner,and working perfect...only fta channels. i do not know how or what is missing, but encrypted channels (even light encryption as biss) are not working...






edit :sorry , i forgot to refer that the test has be done, using edision osmega and edision nino as clients

i succeeded partly:

1. As i could not find any other OE Sat->IP client i installed the latest OpenATV image so that i could hope to find the satip client under their feeds.
2. I installed the SATIP client found under that feed
3. seeking streaming servers i found my fritzbox router
-- to here it is the result i got already yesterday--

4. When i went under the channel search menu i found the new virtual tuner "D"
5. when choosing this new tuner "D" i successfully found the streaming services from my fritzbox router and could watch it. --> success

6. I made a copy of the satip client plugin that is found under usr/lib/enigma2/python...
7. i installed the latest SDG-6 image.
8. neither the saved plugin nor the plugin under the SDG-feed offered me the new tuner "D"

So i think the SDG image has an impact that no new tuner "D" could be found (i mentioned the same result at my Mutant HD51 with SDG-6 image)

I am sure that the developers will find a solution. DVB>IP is getting more and more important so we need this to be working properly.

yesterday i saved my current SDG-6 on SF4008.
Then i installed a pure OpenATV and the SAT-IP client.
After setup sat-ip client I could choose additional tuner D.

I have to disable the built-in DVB-C tuner and then i can choose services on the virtual tuner D. (If i enable the built-in DVB-C tuner it will always use this tuner for tuning)

The same steps with SDG-6 will not succeed. There really seems to be a difference in both enigma2 implementations.

today i tested the same with the SF8008 receiver.
I installed a pure SDG-6 made the latest update and installed the SAT->IP client.
When pressing the yellow button for seeking servers the green screen comes up.

From above error it seems that you are trying to listen on port 0! So that probably fails.

It's hard to test without having a "server" part.

What SAT>IP server do you have?

My Sat-Ip-Server is a Cable-Router called FritzBox 6490.
I attach a foto from the SF4008, where seeking the server succeeded, but including the virtual tuner fails.OpenWebif.jpg

i found out that the right port is #554, i checked the lines in the playlist for vlc, this looks like:

Make an online update and check if something is better with above patch on SF4008.
