Tutorial for T2-MI on SF4008?

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the entire satellite since I've only bought it for my wife who can view some of her own country channels.

She for example wants to watch STB ( https://www.lyngsat.com/tvchannels/u...kanal-STB.html ) which is located on Astra 4A and found out in the end that it's T2-MI that required some editing.

I'm a newb when it comes to that, so is there a step by step guide that I can follow easy to setup my box for this?

Thanks but, you have to understand I'm really new with all of this, so I do have a few question.

I did flash my SF4008 to the satdream one and it's working perfect, but I don't really understand what Athoik means.


1) Where to get and how to edit this Lamedb?
2) What is a "Bouquet" he talkes about and how to use it?
3) This Astra.conf is just a copy to a text document and renamed to astra.conf ?

As a new person to this, it doesn't really mean much to me. I need a little bit more help.. sorry :-)

Managed to get it working but ran into other problems now.

I have a 4K LG C7V tv and I only have sound in 1080p and also multistream like CTB I don't have any sound.

Any idea how to fix this?

I think my question is proper to set into this thread.
The last two days i updated SF4008 and HD51 (thanks to the team for supporting this receiver too) to SatdreamGr-6.
My expectation was that there is something more support of T2-MI: There is the additional parameter "T2MI PLP ID" in signalfinder.
My expaectation was that there might be support to seek for T2-MI capsulated services at the proper transponders (e.g. i tried 12188H on 4.9°E)
But so far the SF4008 did not find those T2-MI services. So far the situation on SDG-6 is the same like SDG-5 (editing lamedb, making the zeonbud bouquet and editing astra-sm.conf).
Is there a plan at the SatdreamGr team to support this parameter in future or do i think wrong?

the receiveing of any channel, is a combined work of image, and receiver-drivers. even if an image supports something, this something has to be supported from receiver too
(for example,it works in edision osmio, and we are waiting the updated drivers for octagon sf8008).
the problem in your case,is that sf4008 is not supported any more from the manufacturer, so i do not thing that something will change for this receiver...
