I have the Image from 12-07-2018 on my Octagon SF4008, is it possible to upgrade to the Image of today (06-09-2018) WITHOUT flashing via usb?
I do not want to reinstall all my plugs-in etc

try via telnet
or via menuCode:opkg update opkg upgrade
menu>setup>software management>software update>{1] update and reboot(recommended)

I´d tried, both:
menu>setup>software management>software update>{1] update and reboot(recommended)
and via telnet:
opkg update && opkg upgrade && reboot
but it say Build date : 2018-07-12
any other suggestion?

Mount your stick usb en media/usb
And use /menu/setup/flash image, (yes, with backup)
