Duo2-Cant Change Timezone & Epg Display in Foreign Wording

Hi Everyone, my Duo2 seem like infected with something that prevented me from changing the timezone and some events are display in a foreign language in Epg. All this happen after I experimented with somebody backup image.
I had tried flashing with the latest images in stable and also the latest 2 experimental but still could not solve this problem. Please Help

Hi Georgeflu, thanks very much for the quick reply. Initially I tried without restoring setting (yes clear installation) and failed to set the timezone and Epg (some events are in foreign language). Then I try with the restoring from backup and is still the same.

Sorry, on the restoration from backup, it should be the timezone is correct but Epg is not.

if you have a hdd installed (or a usb stick) check if there is any "epg.dat" file which is reading from the receiver...

Hi Georgeflu, do I just delete it?
I would like to do another clean install of the new image, how can I solve the timezone problem? I am able to set to the timezone I want but the time did not change at all.

which one is the timezone that you try to set?
in a new clear install,you have to delete also any old "system"files from hdd or usb...

It is the +8 hrs, I had tried all of them. It did allow me to change but after restart E2, the time didn’t change. The time remain at the year 1970 if I remember correctly. The network (internet) is working. I had done at least 4 times new flashing of the latest images in stable and also the latest 2 experimental without restoring from backup but still unsuccessful. I even deleted the backup files created by auto-backup.

as i can see,there are 5 "points" which using +8 gmt . did you tried all them without sucess? for me it is ok (not in duo2)
also,the "1970" year... looks like your receiver does not receive information from channel.
