    ET9000 - AFN in PowerVU

    Hello,
First of all, if you find this message illegal, please remove it.
    My image is this: satdreamgr-OpenPLi 2017-12-18 18:14:21 (2017-12-17 develop)
From what somebody tells me, it is now possible to watch AFN using OpenPLi 6.1rc but not 6.0.
Is my current image based on 6.0 or 6.1?
I was trying to view AFN but I failed and I am looking for a possible cause,

we do not follow the openpli naming, but we always have the latest changes and commits in our image (and you do not need to change it in every release).
now,i will give you just this answer about your channels. in your receiver, nothing has changed from the past (you can do it as in the past, through stream relay function),as et9000 (and 5000 and 6000) series, are not supported any more (drivers etc) from xtrend...

Thanks. Stream relay is something that can now be avoided for AFN and this is what I am trying to do. :)

Really? Perhaps for Dreambox and some other brands, but not for ET.
My understanding is AFN channels have now been using CSA instead of DES since several days ago and this is the only reason why it is now possible to watch AFN without stream relay.
Other PowerVU channels (using DES) are still not accessible to ET9x00 this way.

yes,you are right, afn in et only in stream relay...(i didn't read right your message #8)
but...there is a change in the channels encryption, and not in the receiver,so i do not find the reason to work in openpli 6.1 and not to 6.0...

also, there were a few channels in the past in amos 4W (cinemax,HBO etc) which were using csa encryption, and were viewable in et too...

Have you tried adding cacheex = 1 in you Emu reader?

If that works for you, have in mind that other encryption systems don't work with the above option. So, you have to create a 2nd Emu reader (with cacheex = 1) just for Afn.

    You must be right.
The guy was talking about a VU+ model.
There must be something else I am doing wrong unless it is still not possible to watch AFN on ET9000 without stream relay.
