    Have a look here:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chroma_subsampling
Regular channels are 4:2:0 but feeds are either 4:2:0 or 4:2:2, the latter can only be viewed when streamed to a computer.
I am not a specialist but 4:2:2 is blocked - in drivers?, in the SoC?

i think that @athoik knows very well what 4:2:2 really is ,but his answer is something like "challenge" or "ironically" (sorry i can't find an appropriate word) to the manufacturer...
and most receivers can't support it from hardware...

    Are these 2 different tuners?
Do you know if the manufacturer is aware of the issues?

The tuners are advertised as identical. I sent APSK stream files so the APSK problem could be fixed.

The Octagon manufacturer seems to have lost any concern for the SF4008. After all, a new Octagon model is coming that is supposed to do what the SF4008 was supposed to do...

As regards tuners of HD51 and SF4008, do they normally come with a twin tuner or a single tuner and a loopthrough?

Re: OCTAGON SF4008 4K IS AVAILABLE

By the way, there are no SatDreamGr images for Mut@nt boxes.
What would it require for your team to implement support at least for HD51, considering the fact that there is already support from OpenPLi.
I guess SatDreamGr simply does not have any Mut@nts within the core members of the team. Am I right?

The SF4008 has twin DVB-S/S2 tuners. There is no single tuner or a tuner with a physical loopthrough that I know of.

Additional remarks to SF4008 tuner capability:
Mind that only the first slot supports both inputs of a twin tuner. The second slot only supports one input of the plugged twin tuner, independent from DVB-C, DVB-T, DVB-S..This matter of fact cannot be changed: reason is hardware.
    T90: 42°E..1°W; CAS09: 7°E and 4°W; Gibertini 125: 27,5°W, 30°W
    SF4008, HD51, SF8008: all with SDG-6

Correct, none of us has such a box, manufacturer has already support from "big" teams, so no image.

We can always consider adding a new box, but no plans for HD51 at the moment.

Both tuners (SF4008 and HD51) support multistream. So far i did not compare tuner sensibility.
BBC-Horer, from your experience, do you think their tuner sensitivity is similar to those of other popular brands, such as VU+?
Also, what tuners models do you have in your HD51? Are they both perhaps DVB-S2X SI2166 or is one of them the original DVB-S2 AVL6211?
I assume the AVL6211 does not do multistream.
