Did you buy a PVR or Zapper? I guess you should look at the specs.
There is an a hack from VU+ that enables recording, search for plugin pau.
With the Pau's plugin I can record but it doesn't support the timeshift.Quote:

there are some problems in vu+zero and vu+ solo se,for the reason that i wrote in past message (rights) and if you will check your receivers specs,it refers it as "zapper" and not "pvr".
pau is somehow a "hack" to give the receiver the recording (and timeshift and streaming) option. some images has it preinstalled,other not (and only if you need it you can download it from the feed).
now,i can't be sure if those two receivers has any problem because i do not have them to test,but as i remeber in the past from beta testers,it worked (it is always possible of course that something could be changed).
