Hi.
I use and I'm very happy of it ,the Satdream images on 2 receivers, the DM 8000 HD and the CT 9000, both original but I cannot use a fixed IP on CT9000, in the DM 8000 HD no problem, but in the CT 9000 when I remove DHCP... error...
Someone can help me ?

my friend,this is really strange,because i have the same receiver and i am using it in "static ip" mode without any problem.
but to understan it better,you are using "dhcp" and the receiver is working,and when you turn it in "static" you take an error (what excactly?) did you tried to insert manually another ip (and check the other settings)?

you've understood exactly the problem, when I use DHCP the CT works.. no DHCP green mask and reboot...I think that the problem is when I do my first setup...I've let the software do freely the job..

if you will let the receiver,to take dhcp from network,and than go to menu.../network and change the mode to static (and put a valid manual ip) you still have problem?
Hi, yes it's the same "old story" green ...reboot yes the classic crash in enigma 2...
did you tried to reflash your receiver with an older or newer file?

I'm a doble victim of the VU+solo2 time bomb.. First from the seller that has not tell my that I bought a clone at the price of an original. second my VU+solo2 is waiting from China for a nand flash.. if i'll save the setopbox.. I'll post the procedure....waiting.....
