    Απ: Multistream support

    Hi,

The http://satellites-xml.org/ now supports multistream parameters on the downloaded satellites.xml

    Very nice addition

    Good morning
is possibile the complete set of files needed for working of T2-MI channels on astra 4.8 east
I know then is needed the astra.conf file + a python script for arm + bouquets files. I've read the guide on satellites.co.uk but I'm not able to open. The guide is for MIPSEL receivers, but I've a OCTAGON SF4008 with ARM CPU.
Thanks for all could want to help me

And it works with the 4008 on astra 4. 8 east without problem.
I tried on 40 ° East C Band by adapting the data, unfortunately
    For the moment unsuccessfully.

You can find TBS drivers for 5927 here: https://github.com/tbsdtv/linux_media

The ones currently working are not from above repository, are from those patches.

    Re: Multistream support

Thanks for that. The patches are for tbs 5925? Why is it patched? Only for our satellite box running our image?

By default the linux kernel doesn't contain the TBS tuners. So you need patches to enable those tuners.

Someone with 5925/5980 create those patches, for normal linux, and they are working fine on receivers as well.

Till today nobody created patches from 5927, and the files available here https://github.com/tbsdtv/linux_media is a good start point.

    Re: Multistream support

Ok i understand. I downloaded the files at location you pointed, compiled the whole on ubuntu 17, with no problem.
But i do not have the tbs5927 card yet!
I was only wondering about next step cross compiling on ubuntu the drivers for a unix receiver type vu duo2 for example. Thus i was wondering how much struggle i would have doing that.
